The stars are believed to be the children of Arao and Buan and used to be present in both the day and night. This made the world too hot for humans. So Arao wanted to kill their children, but Buan decided to save them and hid them. That is why the stars only come out at night. Tala is the star of the night who ensures that Arao has left and her sister Hanan is the star of dawn who warns of the sun’s return for a new day. Both bring protection and guidance in the night.
